Paul Dainty has been a corner stone of the Australian entertainment industry since 1972. He has been responsible for the biggest tours to hit Australia - including Paul McCartney, The Rolling Stones, U2, David Bowie, Prince, Pink Floyd, Phil Collins, Neil Diamond, Bee Gees, George Michael, and ABBA.
In 1995 Dainty Consolidated Entertainment was formed as a partnership between Paul Dainty's PD Entertainment Corporation Pty. Ltd. and Consolidated Press. Dainty Consolidated Entertainment is based in Melbourne, Australia.
Recent tours include The Rolling Stones, Il Divo, Snoop Dogg, Nickelback, k.d. Lang, Neil Diamond, Delta Goodrem, and Michael Bublé.
Among the musicals and theatre shows produced or co-produced by Dainty Company were Mamma Mia! (which DCE presented in Australia, New Zealand, Singapore and Hong Kong), Happy Days: The Arena Mega-Musical, Saturday Night Fever (in London and New York), The Rocky Horror Show, Joffrey Ballet, Riverdance and A Tribute To The Blues Brothers with Russell Crowe. DCE's latest theatrical production, Mum's The Word 2: Teenagers, recently premiered at the Comedy Theatre garnering rave reviews.
Other entertainment bonanza have ranged from standup comedy by Jerry Seinfeld to World Wrestling Entertainment live events.
Last year DCE achieved 2 prestigious rankings in global trade publications. In a list by US based "Pollstar" magazine of the top tours of the first 6 months of 2005, DCE was placed #1 Australian promoter and #11 of international promoters.
DCE is also proud winner o 3 Helpmann Awards most recently for collecting the Best International Contemporary Concert Award for Il Divo. In 2004 DCE received 2 Helpmann Awards for the record breaking The Rolling Stones 40 Licks Tour.
Paul Dainty is a Director of the Board of the Film Finance Corporation Australia, sits on the Board of the Sydney FC as independent director and recently joined the Board of the Peter Mac Foundation.
DCE produces the prestigious L'Oreal Paris AFI Awards to be held in Melbourne later this year.

Sports EntertainmentDCE is the Asia Pacific promoter of choice for the prolific global sports entertainment property – World Wrestling Entertainment – with a June 2008 tour of 7 consecutive nights in 7 different cities expected to draw total attendances in excess of 60,000 people.
DCE has also formed a partnership with the Professional Bull Riders in Australia/New Zealand. The PBR was founded in 1992 by 20 accomplished bull riders who decided to develop bull riding – the most popular event in traditional rodeo – into a stand-alone sport. Today more than 1,200 bull riders hold PBR memberships and compete in more than 300 PBR sanctioned competitions around the globe for a total prize pool exceeding US$13 million. DCE has set about staging major bull riding events in key cities – kicking off with the inaugural PBR World Cup on the Gold Coast in 2007 and heading to Melbourne for the PBR National Finals in November 2008.
Special EventsSince 2005, DCE has been the executive producer of the L’Oreal Paris Australian Film Institute Awards, Australia’s longest running and most prestigious film and television industry awards; the Australian equivalent of the Academy Awards. Over the last 3 years, DCE has utilised its extensive relationships and expertise to completely transform the AFI Awards from largely a low-key industry affair into a fabulous gala dinner broadcast nationally during prime time on Channel Nine and featuring a cavalcade of A-List stars and substantial sponsors.
Over the past three years, this spectacular event has been attended by our most internationally respected actors and actresses.
